Kim Hartman,
NYC-native, mother of three children --- the youngest of whom is severely allergic to all nuts and eggs, saw the
need for such a product and sought a partner to help her bring her dream
to market. Maureen
Cooney, mom
to two, graduated from b-school in 2004 and was ready to contribute her
talents to the right opportunity. Kim and Maureen joined forces in the
fall of 2007 and founded
Co.Hart Concepts LLC
in January of 2008 to begin transforming Kim's vision into a reality.
Co.Hart Concepts LLC's primary purpose is to
ensure that there is never an instance in which convenience, comfort,
or vanity precludes people living with severe allergies from having
this critical medication on hand. The Company will work to raise
awareness about the serious nature of these allergies and to further
educate its target market about the importance of preparedness. Take
In CaseTM is just the first in a continuing and thriving generation
of innovative products that will help people be prepared always and
as a result, that will save lives.

Doctors...
"I really like this product. It provides a new level of convenience
which is very much appreciated."
- Scott Sicherer, MD
Jaffe Food Allergy Institute NYC
Mothers...
"When my son was diagnosed with
food allergies, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. As a mother, being
vigilant about Andy's well-being is second-nature. Making sure that
he always has his EpiPen® Auto-Injectors and that he knows how to
administer them properly is very important. Now that he's getting
older and more independent, I am not always with him. Take In Case™
achieves two goals: 1. It enables Andy to carry his medicine in a
convenient, discreet manner to parties, the movies, ball games, a
friend's house, etc. and 2. It gives me peace of mind knowing that
he's safe!"
- Kim Hartman,
Co-founder of Co.Hart Concepts LLC
"Take in Case has changed my life!
I can send my daughter off to a party and I do not have to worry
about where her EpiPen will be in case of an emergency. I have marked
the outside of the EpiPens with her important information and 2 fast
melt Benadryl¹s fit nicely inside the pockets of her Take in Case she
is good to go!!"
- Karen Handler, NYC
